25TH Annual FACE Fall Scholarship Dinner
The annual Foundation to Advance Catholic Education, or FACE, Fall Scholarship Diner will take place today, October 1st, at White’s of Westport. A reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will follow at 6:30 p.m.
As previously announced, the featured speaker will be New England Patriot Matthew Slater. A graduate of a Catholic high school in his native California, Slater has a strong record off the field as well in community service and outreach. His presentation at the Fall Scholarship Dinner will follow the meal.
Representatives of the news media are welcome to cover the event.
The dinner is held each year to raise money for FACE. In the 2018-2019 school year, FACE provided $1.3 million in scholarships to 925 students enrolled in a Catholic school in the Fall River Diocese.
