We’re about a month into winter, and cases of seasonal respiratory illnesses are at some of their highest levels in years across Massachusetts and Fall River.
Ms. Curran says the elderly population is susceptible to falling ill. There has also been an alarming spike in cases among children.
Cases of COVID are also higher in Fall River than in years past…And are, at times, difficult to detect.
