In response to a recommendation from business owners in the Fall River Industrial Park, SRTA buses began a new route today.

The Southeast Regional Transit Authority announced changes on its route 2 run from the SRTA terminal downtown to the industrial park in the city’s far north end.

The route was changed initially on October 24th in order to extend the bus run to the Amazon facility on Innovation Way. That run slightly reduced service in the industrial park, which includes 65 businesses and which employs 4,500 people. The new route tweaks service to add more stops in the industrial park.

The Route 2 bus runs up North Main Street to Airport Road.
