The production is directed by Artistic Director and Assistant Professor David Ledoux. Admission is General Public: $15; Seniors, Non-Bristol Students and Bristol Faculty/Staff: $10; Bristol Students: $5; Children under 13 receive free admission.
Using Edgar Allan Poe’s texts as a springboard, Bristol has created an original piece of theatre that examines the themes, characters and terrifying situations that came from the mind of one of America’s greatest writers. The piece will utilize material from Edgar Allan Poe’s work and life in the form of a séance, to commune with the spirits of Poe’s acquaintances and characters from his works.
Bristol’s new theatre program is an Associate in Arts in liberal arts & sciences that provides hands-on training and experience, allowing students to learn and refine their craft as they perform. Students can smoothly transfer to a four-year institution or seek work in the performing arts. In addition to teaching history, literature and art, studying theatre also provides interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
