Bristol Community College Theatre program to host FREE original theatre piece The God that you serve from November 29 – December 1

Bristol Community College is proud to announce the inaugural production of the college’s newly revamped theatre program…

The God that you serve, an original piece of theatre devised by Bristol Theatre Program students and directed by David Ledoux, will make its world premiere on Thursday, November 29; Friday, November 30, and Saturday, December 1, beginning at 8 p.m. The production takes place in the Studio Theatre (room H128) in the Jackson Arts Center (H Building), on the Bristol Fall River campus. Admission is FREE and open to the public.
Combining elements of Frankenstein, the Book of Job, Faust and original short plays from the Bristol theatre program’s playwriting class, the production’s ensemble wrestles with issues of good versus evil. The production poses the question, “What is the individual’s responsibility for the things that he or she creates and puts out into the world?”

This original production coincides with the 200th anniversary of the publication of Frankenstein by Mary Shelly.
