All Fall River schools will end their academic years in the coming weeks. That means it’s time for parents to look at options to keep their kids busy this summer.
At the Boys & Girls Club of Fall River, they are preparing for a full weekly enrollment of 300 students, ages 6 to 12, for its Camp Welch program in Assonet. Executive Director Bill Kiley says campers will be greeted with a renovated facility that is both spacious and safe.
Unfortunately all sessions at Camp Welch this summer are full. But there are still slots available for teens 13-15 to take part in the club’s Summer Teen Enrichment Program (STEP) held at its facility on Bedford Street.
