In an effort to raise money to educate today’s youth about the dangers of using illegal substances, and alcohol abuse, The Bold Coalition held a 5K race at the Fall River Industrial Park over the weekend. A group of teenagers with a desire to help in the education process volunteered to plan the event which attracted some 350 area residents. According to Nic Charest, Director of Youth Prevention Services at the Stanley Street Treatment Center – which provides help to addicts in recovery – was present at the event:
