A bicycle event and parade will be held on Sunday, June 30, in conjunction with Fall River’s Quequechan River Festival.
The event starts at 11 a.m. in the parking lot across from the UMASS Center for Innovation and Technology on Martine St. It will feature a helmet giveaway from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. sponsored by the Truesdale Health Foundation. Also on the agenda are a bike rodeo, bike decorating, ABCs of bike safety, small repairs, and One Brain Campaign.
Cyclists will start lining up at 12:15 p.m. for a bike parade along the Quequechan River Rail Trail. The parade will be accompanied by a police escort and will kick off at 12:30 p.m. Helmets are required for ages 18 and under.
