Bicycle Helmet Give-A-Way Program

Due to inclement weather last weekend, the Bicycle-Give-Away program sponsored by Mass-in-Motion will be held this Saturday at Britland Park in Fall River. According to Active Healthy Living Coordinator Janice Velozo, the event will take place between 10:00 a.m. and noon. In addition to handing out helmets for a variety of ages, residents are urged to bring their bicycles which will be checked for minor adjustments – tires, brakes, chains, etc. Helmets are fitted for children five to seventeen years old. Mass in Motion offers this safety program twice a year.
