Bristol Community College students in Fall River were part of National Advocacy Day that was held recently at the State House in Boston. The purpose: For students around the Commonwealth to meet with their state legislators to discuss higher education issues that need to be addressed, primarily increasing tuition costs and public transportation as it relates to getting back and forth to college campuses. Here is what some BCC students had to say about their experiences during the Public Higher Education Network of Massachusetts event on Beacon Hill:
