Bristol Community College is recognizing The Cambodian Genocide era today, Friday, April 15th with a day-long ceremony. Events kicked off with a welcome speech by President John Sbrega. Below is a rundown of today’s schedule:

9:30 a.m. Introduction – Dr. Ron Weisberger and Raksmey Pen

9:45 a.m. – Professor Phitsamay Uy talks about Cambodian Genocide History

11:00 a.m. – Panelist Discussion

12:00 p.m. Luncheon in G-Building Cafeteria with a book signing by Makna Men

1:00 – Monkey Dance Film and Discussion

2:30 p.m. Ending remarks by Dr. Hun Manet

The day long event is free and open to students, faculty, staff, and the general public.
