The signing of the charter that established Bristol Community college as an institution of higher learning occurred 5o years ago. To celebrate, administrators held a birthday celebration at the Elsbree Street Fall River Campus. BCC President Jack Sbrega spoke how the college started off in one building on Durfee Street and over the decades grew into a five site institution:
