The Kick off to College Orientation will take place tomorrow, September 2nd.
Nancy Hunter Denney is the nationally recognized keynote speaker. Ms. Denney is an author, and education whose mission is to encourage strategies for enhanced engagement in one’s work place, areas of study, organizations, communities, and relationships.
She has appeared on the national stage with financial advice expert Suze Orman, CNN news correspondent Soledade O’Brien, and talk show host Dr. Phil.
Ms. Denney will be presenting in the Jackson Art Center – building H – from 8:30 – 10:00.
The academic component of the day takes place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The Office of Student Life has scheduled a variety of activities held to orient and connect new students to BCC.
In addition to the barbecue luncheon, we have the annual club fair, a DJ, a career photo booth, volleyball, a magician/illusionist, a henna tattoo artist and kayaks in the pond.
