The City of Fall River and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts welcomed new S.S. Citizens hailing from 19 countries at a naturalization ceremony held Wednesday aboard the Battleship Massachusetts.
Superior Court Chief Justice Michael Riciutti swore in the new citizens and then implored them to take advantage of the opportunities afforded to all U.S. citizens.
Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Campbell also addressed the new citizens and promoted the commonwealth’s commitment to diversity.
