There will be only one race on the Fall River Preliminary Election ballot. The order in which the candidates will appear has been determined.
A drawing was held today to set the order for the five candidates running for Mayor. Here is how the candidates will appear:

Paul E. Coogan
Michael J. Vandal
Carlos Cesar
Christopher Silvia
The preliminary election will be held on Tuesday, September 16. The top two vote-getters in the election will be nominated to appear on the Municipal Election ballot on November 4. They will be joined by 14 candidates running for City Council and 10 candidates running for School Committee.
