The Diocese of Fall River oversees 17 schools within a district from Attleboro to Cape Cod.
Diocesan School Superintendent Daniel Roy says the interest in catholic school education across the region remains consistent, with families still deciding this month whether it is an option.
The diocese has five K-through eighth grade schools in Fall River that work to meet the unique needs of city students..
Mr. Roy says since the closure of Bishop Connolly High School in Fall River last, parents of Connolly students have been welcomed at other Catholic high schools, primarily Bishop Stang in Dartmouth.
Mr. Roy says as the new year begins on August 27, all of the diocesan schools share the same core ideals in providing students with a well-rounded education.
