The Atlantis Charter School in Fall River begins its new school year on Monday, August 28 with 1,300 students enrolled in its K-12 program.
The current Atlantis Charter School campus on Jefferson Street opened in 2017 with room for expansion, particularly in grades nine through twelve.
Mr. Beatty says high school students benefit from being exposed to a myriad of job opportunities through the school’s Career Academy.
For students in the elementary grades of the school, the focus will shift to a new, expanded literacy curriculum.
Since the new campus was constructed, the school has been able to expand its athletics offerings to all grades.
As Atlantis Charter enters its 28th year serving Fall River students, Mr. Beatty says the school remains committed to providing each student with the academic support needed to succeed.
