Bristol Community College begins its academic year this Tuesday with a return to a more traditional college experience for students.
Following last year when there were limited in-person classes, this year the college will offer options for both online and in-person learners. Bristol president Dr. Laura Douglas says unlike a year ago services will be made available at all four Bristol locations.
Dr. Doulgas says those on campus this semester will be required to wear masks indoors regardless of vaccination status. There will also be other covid requirements for students.
Since the onset of the pandemic, many Bristol students paused their education because of health or economic reasons. Dr. Douglas says the college is putting a concerted effort together to reach out to those students to get them to return to school.
The new year will also see the return of Bayhawk athletics. All compettions were cancelled last year due to the pandemic.
