FRCMedia is previewing the upcoming year of the school districts that serve city students. Today, we will take a look at what lies ahead at Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School.
There’s more than teaching and learning on the minds of those returning on August 27 for another academic year at Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School. The 2025-2026 school year will be the last in its current building on Stonehaven Road. Next fall, students and teachers will migrate to a new building nearing completion on the school’s campus.
Assistant Superintendent & Principal Leslie Weckesser says construction of the new school has afforded students with exciting learning opportunities.
As the vocational programs at Diman evolve, so have the options in providing supplemental education support.
Ms. Weckesser says students continue to suggest activities that are of interest to them outside the classroom.
During construction, traffic patterns and parking options have shifted for students and teachers, and this year will be no different. That’s why the school remains committed to continuous conversation with those within and outside the Diman community.
When the new school opens next fall, the process will begin to demolish the old building to make way for the construction of the school’s athletic fields.
