Argosy Collegiate Charter School will begin its tenth year serving city scholars in grades 6 through 12 beginning August 30.
Executive Director Kristen Pavao says the mission of the school remains…showing Fall River how a college education can positively impact a community.
The school will start the year with just under 600 students enrolled. Ms. Pavao feels Argosy provides a clear choice for parents seeking higher education options for their children.
Scholars at Argosy can begin earning college credits in ninth grade and many head into college not needing to pay for a full education with the free credits earned, saving scholars and parents money.
As the school moves forward, Argosy has begun to see validation in the success of its college preparatory curriculum. One recent graduate completed her bachelor’s degree in five semesters at Bridgewater State University while another is beginning her second year at Harvard.
