Pet Partners and Forever Paws Animal Shelter invite you to their annual Open Your Heart for Whiskers and Paws Wine and Food Tasting Fundraiser on Sunday, May 15th. The event will be held at the Marine Museum at 70 Water Street with proceeds to be used for necessary medical and surgical services for adoptable shelter and rescue pets.
The event will include samplings of food from a variety of local restaurants, a silent auction, and raffle. Tickets also include admission to the newly created exhibits that include Sails, Paddles, and Screws: The History of Maritime Travel and Culture.
Forever Paws relies on donations, fundraisers, adoptions, and dedicated benefactors to keep the shelter in operation, as it does not receive any state or federal funding. Forever Paws and Pet Partners are both (501) (c) (3) non-profit animal welfare organizations.
Dr. Debbie Gehrke of Pet Partners says, “We are fortunate to have a great relationship with Forever Paws and numerous rescue groups that provide care for pets that are not owned, but are adoptable.”
