After the swearing ceremony for of Jasiel Correia II as mayor today, city council members were also sworn in during the inauguration ceremony at Durfee High School.
Immediately following the promise to serve under ethical and government rules, City Clerk Alison Bouchard asked for a vote for the position of City Council. Shawn Cadmine was voted for that top job, while his colleague, Councilor Linda Perreira was sworn in as Vice President.
Shawn, who served as the city’s former city administrator, is now serving his first term on the council.
