Amazon Gearing Up to Hire 500 Employees

Amazon’s Distribution Center located in Fall River’s Industrial Park is ready to hire 500 employees to begin work as Fullfillment Associates as soon as the facility opens its doors this fall. At a news conference today, Mayor Jaziel Correia announced that HR representatives will be at Durfee High School tomorrow, Wednesday, July 6th at 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to give details about the job openings to prospective job seekers. Mayor Correia also announced that the Fall River Career Center will be assisting Fall River area workers in the job seeking process, adding that there will be other jobs opportunities in the future:
