For the first time since 2012 all three lanes on the eastbound side of the Braga Bridge are now open. This latest opening follows a two week lane closure that was needed so Mass Department of Transportation Officials could do repaving work.
In the last several years, the Route 79 Reconstruction Project has also disrupted traffic over the Braga. Now that the Braga’s three lanes eastbound are open and traffic is moving steadily, MassDot officials still urge motorists to use caution while traveling over the bridge that connects Fall River and Somerset.
