Although it is early in the election process in the race to replace outgoing Bristol County District Attorney Tom Quinn, one candidate made his intentions known last fall to seek the office.
Republican Seth Aitken is the former Fall River city administrator and city attorney who served in the offices of Attorney Quinn and former district attorney Sam Sutter.
Attorney Aitken says he will remain focused on improving the effectiveness of the D.A.’s office.
No one else has publicly announced their intentions to run in the race. Nomination papers for office will be available beginning on February 10 and must be returned to local election offices for certification by April 28.
