Mass in Motion – a Fall River based non-profit group that promotes wellness programs in the city – will participate in AHA! Fall River’s celebration slated for tomorrow, Thursday, April 20th, in the downtown area.
According to Executive Director Julie Ann Kelly, there will be an opening of the Exhibit of the Staircase Gallery at Government Center entitled Quequechan River Vision: Then and Now. The exhibit features city-related art work, some depicting the Queueshan River before and during construction of the Alfred J. Lima Quequechan River Rail Trail. Some current pieces show images of the aftermath of the recent construction, which will give viewers a chance to see what they can experience while walking the trail now.
The exhibit will remain open to visitors throughout the summer months when Government Center is open for business. For more information, contact Julianne Kelly, Coordinator, Mass in Motion-Fall River, at jkelly@fallriverma.org or 508-324-2405.
