This week the city council received an update from the Coogan Administration on its efforts to combat homelessness in Fall River.
Michael Dion, director of the city’s community development agency, says the Coogan team and its community partners have done a great job identifying those who are homeless and finding them shelter and support.
Mr. Dion says the city has also been vigilant in dealing with homeless encampments.
Mr. Dion says the city has received millions of dollars in grants to support the homeless.
