Former City Councilor Bradford L. Kilby has decided to run for a city council seat in this fall’s election along with two other residents. With Kilby taking out nomination papers there are now 14 potential candidates in that race. The other two newcomers are Mario DoRego III, and Ian A. Tomkins.

To date the only incumbent city councilors to have taking out papers are Raymond Mitchell and Stephen Long.

The other candidates to have officially taken out nomination papers are as follows: Emanuel Barros; Ronald A. Cabral; Russell Desbiens; Michelle Dionne; Daniel Dupere; Trottjoseph Lee; Jason Springer; Marc E. Thiboutot; and Derek R. Viveiors.

Ronald A. Cabral also took out nomination papers for the mayor’s seat joining incumbent Mayor Jasiel Correia II; Richard J. Branco; City Council Vice President Linda Pereira; City Councilor Richard Cabeceiras; Emmanuel Pestana; Luis Cabal; and Patrick Higgins. (Names are not listed in any particular order.)
