Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn III is reporting that a 60 year old Fall River woman will be arraigned in Fall River Superior Court today for allegedly stealing more than $120,000 from a 92-year-old woman she provided in-home care for.
Kathleen King was recently indicted by a Bristol County Grand Jury on a single count of larceny over $250 from a person 60 years of age or older.
The defendant allegedly assisted the elderly Fall River woman with cooking, cleaning, shopping and other household tasks. In 2013, after gaining the victim’s trust, the defendant allegedly withdrew more than $120,000 from the victim’s checking and savings accounts, according to Quinn’s office.
