The official ceremony for the re-dedication of the Gates of the City on Ponta Delgada Boulevard will be held on Sunday, October 23rd at 2:30 p.m. The occasion marks the tenth anniversary of the gates as a cultural and architectural landmark in Fall River’s waterfront district. The gates are a replica of the Gates of the City in Ponta Delgada, the Azores. The public is invited to attend.
Following the ceremony, there will be a reception at the Cultural Center, 205 South Main Street.
