Mayor Jasiel Correia II has announced that the Proposed Fiscal Year 2017 Budget has been completed. It may be viewed at the City of Fall River website: http://www.fallriverma.org, through a link on the site’s home page.
Mayor Correia today said, “With the elimination of the household trash fee, this budget was a particular challenge. I’d like to thank the City’s financial team for all their hard work and for a job well done. We’ve tried our best to make this budget as easy to read and understand as possible, with charts, graphs and any explanatory features we thought would be helpful.”
The proposed budget goes to the City Council for members review and possible rejection or acceptance on June 1st.
