The outdoor community event season is underway with the fourth annual We HeART Fall River Festival scheduled for Saturday, May 11 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm in downtown Fall River organized by Fall River Arts & Culture Coalition (FRACC).
The free event alongside Government Center on Sullivan Drive will feature activities for all ages. A tradition at the festival is the array of makers selling their wares along old Second Street.
There will also be a line of food trucks featuring a variety of offerings.
The festival will also host a stage with local and regional entertainment.
The We HeART Fall River Festival is made possible through support from local sponsors and will include many activities for children and families.
Ms. Occhino says the festival is one of many events planned each year that bolster the city’s creative economy.
