As spring begins, thoughts will soon move to community clean-ups and recycling events.
For the third year in a row legislators are partnering with Green Team Junk Removal, National Grid, and Eversource to sponsor three community recycling events…A one-stop shop where residents can drop off a car full of items to be disposed of appropriately. There is no limit to the number of items to be recycled, but there are disposal fees.
National Grid and Eversource are using the events to promote their energy efficiency programs and offer a rebate from the Mass Save program for the disposal of older dehumidifiers.
Fall River’s recycling event will be Saturday, March 29th from 9 am to 12 pm at the old Westport High School on 19 Main Road in Westport.
