Bristol Community College will host its 19th annual community breakfast in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, January 21, 2019.
Superintendent of New Bedford Public Schools Thomas Anderson will be the keynote speaker at the event, which will include a breakfast buffet and music. In addition, awards will be presented to the winners of two competitions that students from Bristol Community College and area high school participated in: a Martin Luther King, Jr. essay contest and a Martin Luther King, Jr. visual arts challenge.
The breakfast will be held in the Commonwealth College Center (G Building) Cafeteria, on the Bristol Fall River campus, 777 Elsbree Street. It begins at 8:30 a.m. and is open to the community. There is no charge for admission.
