Hosted and produced by Kathy Castro -- BCC instructor, Little Theatre of Fall River director, and former host of the long-running WSAR radio show "Arts and Entertainment" -- Arts Alive! spotlights people and places engaged in the arts in the greater Fall River area.  The program is on the air Mondays at 6:30 p.m.

The Willie J. Laws Band joins host Kathy Castro for a live performance, and “Four,” a spring art exhibit at the Greater Fall River Art Association featuring interpretive work by four female artists, is previewed.

Host Kathy Castro interviews Fall River artist Brian Fox, known for his portraits of people, especially sports figures and celebrities, and award-winning singer/songwriter Chuck Williams, the president of the Rhode Island Songwriters Association.

Host Kathy Castro highlights two Fall River cultural events: Figuratively Speaking, an art exhibit at Grimshaw-Gudewicz Art Gallery at Bristol Community College featuring depictions of the human body, and Little Theatre of Fall River's production of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play August:Osage County.
